Mika's Top Surgery Fund

I am (*drum roll pleeeeease*) getting something off my chest! FOR REAL! IT'S HAPPENING JUNE 10TH and I'm SO excited! The surgery altogether is going to cost $10,698 and will be COMPLETELY out of pocket (and that's if everything goes well, so ya know, fingers crossed!!). For now, I'm focusing on getting the funds because as a freelance artist, WOOO it is tough to convince any bank that you need a loan to affirm your life, am I right? SO! This is where you come in. You've followed my journey for the past year now and know how much this surgery means to me. I am incredibly grateful for any donation you can make and you better believe I plan on paying it forward. Any proceeds from my top surgery will go to trans artists through a producing company I began this past year called All Bodies. If you can't donate at this time, sharing this campaign on social media will make such a difference! I'll be holding a concert post-surgery with other artists so I can be unequivocally myself. 

For anyone who doesn't know me and has found my campaign, HELLO! My name is Mika Kauffman. I'm non-binary, transmasc and my pronouns are they/them/theirs. I am an NYC-based, multi-hyphenate artist, primarily a musical theatre writer, director, dramaturg and producer. I'm building new work Off-Broadway and working every day to create equitable, collaborative spaces for queer and TGNC artists.
