On November 30th, our lives changed forever. My partner was in a horrific accident that has greatly impacted our lives and our children's lives. While riding his motorized bike, an industrial-sized dump truck turned in front of him and causing him to slide under its two rear axles, running him over with the rear end. The damage was life-threatening, and he was flown to Vegas for treatment. He has undergone multiple surgeries and will require at least one more. We face a long road to recovery before he can return home. This has left me with the difficult decision to temporarily relocate to Vegas with the children to be with him during his recovery. I am currently seeking financial assistance to cover the costs of finding an apartment and moving, medical bills, and supporting myself and the kids until I can find a job in Vegas. This has been the most challenging experience we've faced, but we remain hopeful for a full recovery.
