Hello All,

I never thought I’d be in this position, but my beloved and absolutely adorable cat Chloe is experiencing a very painful and distressing medical situation, and I could really use some help with her rapidly mounting medical bills. I’ve been hemorrhaging cash and scrambling to figure out what’s going on for about a month now, but it looks like we’ve got a long way to go before we get some answers and can formulate a solid plan to move forward.

We know that she has intestinal and liver swelling that the vet thinks is caused by pancreatitis or some other gut problem, and my poor baby is so nauseated that she cannot eat and is losing an alarming amount of weight very quickly for a cat her size. I’ve had to force feed her baby food and medications, and since she can’t swallow we’ve had to do the same with broth and water.

Chloe is 8 years old and is one of the great joys in my life, so this past month has been an absolutely awful time for all of us. Seeing my once vibrant, independent, mischievous friend lying in the same place all day, confused, and in pain is so horrible, and I feel completely helpless.

The past two years of pandemic turmoil and financial upheaval have absolutely wiped all of my savings, and Chloe’s upcoming medical bills plus the thousands of dollars I’ve spent already have put me in a position where I’m mentally preparing to have to make some really difficult decisions about my financial ability to continue her care in the very near future.

All funds will go towards caring for my Chloe and paying her vet bills. She has a $4,000 biopsy coming up in the next couple of weeks, and if she makes it through this horrible ailment I'm told she’ll most likely have to be on medications for the rest of her life.

I love her so much, and I just want to give her every opportunity to beat this thing and come back to me. I'll be forever grateful for any help you can offer.
