Ted and Mary (Hosick) Kowalczyk’s love story began 24 years ago when they met and fell in love, beginning their life together.

A year and a half ago Ted was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

So in a magical ceremony of love, in July of 2025, Ted and Mary sealed their commitment to their lifelong relationship surrounded by family and dear friends in a wedding ceremony in the Muskokas.

Ted endured brain surgery eighteen months ago leaving him unable to return to work.

Four months later, Ted’s illness had progressed to the point that Mary was required to leave her career and become his full-time caregiver.

We have all struggled at some point in our lives and understand how hard it is to ask for help when we need it.

As friends of Ted and Mary, we are witnessing the financial difficulties they are having and are asking for help for them.

We are asking their family, friends and all those who at some point have had their lives impacted by Ted and Mary to help in anyway they can to ensure that the additional financial burden is not something Ted and Mary have to worry about.

We are grateful for any and all help for them.
