Help GYPSY walk

3-15-23 Update:Thank-you to all of the donors that have helped Gypsy. We still need help sadly. If you can help with any amount, it will be greatly appreciated. Gypsy is thriving and doing wonderful in her foster home, but she is still in pain and needs surgery.

It's heartbreaking to think about this little 5 year old girl being in survival mode, weathering the elements, and to top it off, being in pain. "Gypsy" had been running the streets of Medina since we believe last August, but no one ever reported her missing. It was recently realized, from facebook posts showing a skin and bones dog, that this little girl has been traveling all over Medina and was homeless. Plans were immediately put in place and she was humanely trapped and brought into a warm foster home. This sweet girl was frightened, but exhausted and she soon fell asleep with her head in a warm kind hand. Later that day, Gypsy limping warranted a trip to the vet where it was discovered she had a right back leg Luxated Patella and a possible torn ACL. Surgery is required to fix it. Surgery for the luxating Patella would cost $2800. If they go in and find a torn ACL it could be another $1,000. We are praying that the luxating patella is the only thing causing the distress.

So many people in Medina and surrounding counties are reaching out to ask how they can help so we've created this GoFundMe. We need to schedule her surgery as soon as possible, but need your help. Anything you can donate would be appreciated by Gypsy and Paws and Prayers, who were kind enough as always to accept this sweet girl into their rescue.
