Help Mohanad Rebuild His Life

My name is Mohanad Ibrahim Ewaida, 30 years old. I live in the Gaza Strip, Palestine.

Before the genocide, I have lived with my father and mother in our home in Al-Shuja'iya neighborhood. I worked as a graphic designer, building my career and saving money to start a new life like any young person. I was preparing for marriage and planning to build my own home. But then the genocide began, and everything changed in a devastating and dramatic way.

During this genocide, I lost my father's home where we were living. In addition to that, I lost my job as a graphic designer, which was my only source of income.

Currently, I live with my elderly father and mother in a single room under extremely difficult living and financial conditions. I am responsible for caring for my father, whose health is deteriorating, especially given the harsh medical situation in Gaza and the lack of adequate healthcare services. He needs daily treatment and special care, which are not available in Gaza due to the overcrowding in hospitals and the blockade that prevents the entry of proper medication for his condition and for many others like him.

I created this link asking for your support so I can take care of my father, cover our basic needs, and hopefully secure the possibility of travel for me and my parents and start a new life in a safe place— if circumstances allow.
