Donation protected
To take some of the burden off their plate, I am setting this up for my sweet friend Brittany VanDenBerg and her brother Billy. Yesterday afternoon, Brittany and Billy lost their beautiful mother, Debi. As some may already know, Debi battled ALS but her death was very sudden and unexpected, leaving the family without the financial means for a proper memorial. Brittany and Billy have selflessly helped care for their mother and loved her dearly. The following is what Brittany had to say about their loss:
"Yesterday afternoon my brother and I entered into the most difficult journey we have yet to face as my mom passed away. Even through battling ALS, my mom was cracking jokes and extending as much love as she had to others. And to say that we miss her doesn't do justice to what we really feel. The death of a loved one, and especially a parent, always comes too soon. It still doesn't feel real. There are many of you who have followed and contributed to bettering her journey. And we are forever grateful."
