This is Anthony Luka, many people in our community know him as our local Meadow Vista Barber, but Anthony is much more. When he came into Meadow Vista years ago he immediately made himself a helpful hand for the community. He included himself in the Lions club and anytime any one of his costumers or someone in the community needed help Anthony would be standing right there. I go to Colfax High School and Anthony is my buddy, my friend, my hair dresser, and  the most caring guy I have ever met. I sometimes go to his shop just to bug him and hang out, somehow every time I go in there to complain and vent to him, he has a smile on his face and is welcoming to me. Right now Anthony needs our help.

As many of us know Anthony has been having kidney problems the past few years and he has been working so hard to get a kidney transplant. Unfortunately a few weeks ago he has developed kidney failure and currently on dialysis. He now has to do dialysis EVERY day.  He has to be connected to a machine for 12 hours that pumps his fluids out and back in. Now knowing Anthony, he is still working, he goes to work everyday and gets hooked up to the machine every night. Kristina (his wife) is working full time managing three orthodontic offices while they try and support their 2 kids(Santino and Gianni) and grandparents that live with them.

This is unbelievably hard and as a community we can't sit back and just watch what is happening to this incredible man. Our goal is large, but please donate something just something. Anthony is the most kind man you will ever meet, he takes care of everyone and now we need to take care of him.
