My name is Cheyenne Schuler. My 2 kids and I were placed in low-income housing by Center For Community Solutions to escape DV and establish a safe living environment for our little family. I’m in the process of applying for disability still, and my only income is through CalWorks. Therefore, I was receiving rental assistance through Center For Community Solutions’ program from June to October.

This month I won’t be able to pay my rent due to the government shutdown and funding cuts. I have been in touch with 211 and have contacted every rental assistance program available. I have had no luck and am now desperate. My rent was due November 4th, so I’m asking for any help with paying my rent before we are evicted from our first home together.

Any and all funds donated will be used towards our housing expenses/bills.
