My name is Sasha Giacomo.

September I started having stomach issues, complete loss of strength, and extreme fatigue. Also found a mass in my stomach. Well maybe it's gas, nope maybe I pulled a muscle when I went and got that 30lb bag of dog food and threw it over my shoulder. September 4th I went to the ER. They ran tests and they came back quickly. They told me I had splenomegaly (enlarged spleen), infact the biggest they have ever seen. Also Lymphoma. Then asked if I had any questions. I was pretty sure I knew what lymphoma was, but asked just in case. Yep it's cancer. I was immediately transferred to Good Sam Hospital where I stayed for two weeks while they ran every test under the sun. I had all the blood tests ran, bone marrow biopsy, lymph biopsy, blood transfusion, platelets transfusion, plasma transfusion, etc. They finally came back with an exact diagnosis Non Hodgkin's Difuse large B Cell Lymphoma Stage 4, yep I have Cancer. I have a treatment plan of chemotherapy for 6 sessions of R-EPOCH for 18 weeks. I've already had one round of chemo. Thie funds from this will be used towards the kids, bills, and other misc expenses lymphoma related.
