Save Gnocchi!

Hello, we normally wouldn’t do anything like this but at this time we are desperate to do anything to get our boy home.

Gnocchi is our 10 month old Jug (Jack Russell x Pug)- he is the light of our lives and brings endless joy to everyone he meets.

Within the last week Gnocchi has suffered from a suspected bug/virus and on Saturday he took a turn for the worst. After an emergency admission, Gnocchi has been fighting haemorrhagic gastroenteritis- whereby his stomach and intestinal fluid are leaking causing severe inflammation and blood loss.

Because of this he has become majorly anaemic needing several plasma transfusions as well as multiple continuous drug infusions around the clock to ensure he is not in any pain or discomfort. Currently he is being fed through a “trickle” feeding tube as his stomach and intestines cannot handle the general feeding quantity.

Our vets have been outstanding throughout and we cannot fault their treatment however we have breached our limit.

We are so hopeful in him and are willing to do anything to aid his recovery but need help funding him to give him the best possible chance of beating this.
