Mick Kuisel was the most wonderful, funny, brilliant and loving person I have ever known. Sadly Mick transitioned this past Tuesday afternoon (February 28, 2017). He had been battling melanoma for three months. His passing was deeply peaceful and beautiful. He was surrounded by the individuals who loved him most and supported him. Although Mick had a long and fruitful career in advertising, he spent the last few years dedicated to his passion. Gardening was therapeutic and joyful for Mick. It fulfilled his need to see things grow and to make things beautiful. It connected him to life and Spirit. If you have ever had the privilege to see his professional gardens they are awe inspiring. There is beauty, attention to detail, humor, personality and creativity in each landscape he created. In honor of his passing, I will be creating a memorial garden in his memory. Instead of sending flowers or a condolence gift, please consider donating to this fund. All donors will be memorialized in a plaque at the garden entrance. I will work with Mick's colleagues and friends to create something that he would be proud of. For me, it will be a way to see Mick every day, to keep his spirit alive.
