Help My Soul Cat Buddy Fight for His Life

Hi, my name is Samantha and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. My beloved cat, Buddy, is currently fighting for his life in the emergency veterinary hospital. He's 11 years old and has been my constant companion, my comfort, and my light for over a decade.

I adopted Buddy when he was just 6 months old — his fourth home already. I was only 19 and had no idea how deeply he would change my life. Through heartbreak, trauma, growth, and healing, Buddy has been my shadow, my emotional support, and my family. He is so much more than a pet — he's my soul cat.

Recently, Buddy became very ill, and I rushed him to the ER. The veterinarians suspect it could be FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) or GI lymphoma, both of which are serious, painful, and life-threatening. We're still working on a diagnosis, but in the meantime, he needs aggressive supportive care and possibly long-term treatment to survive.

As many of you know, emergency veterinary care is incredibly expensive. Between diagnostics, hospitalization, medications, and potential treatment plans, the costs are rising fast. I'm doing everything I can to give Buddy a fighting chance, but financially, I’m struggling to keep up.
