This is a request for prayers and emergency funds for my brother, Essix Daniel who walked around for 3-months with a broken neck, C3-C5 and broken back, L3-L4.  The high blood pressure from the pain of these injuries caused two hemorrhagic strokes.  The hemorrhagic strokes caused damage to his kidneys.   As of 12/10 the kidneys are back to normal. The high BP and 3-days of vomiting are what got him to the hospital ER.  He had a rock star neurosurgeon, Dr. Malini Narayanan who successfully repaired the damage to his cervical and lumbar spine with two, 7-hour and an additional 5-hour surgeries.  

For 53 years, he has never had more than a cold.  Naturally, he is overwhelmed with all of this.  He will have no income during his recovery, which will be painful and lengthy.   The money will be used to pay the $4300 property tax and current utilities.  The prayers from family, friends and my AKA Sorors have facilitated the talent and expertise of great medical professionals at the University of MD-Prince Georges County Hospital and the Adventist Healthcare White Oak Medical Center.  He has been moved to the Sligo Creek Rehabilitation Center.  They will provide the intense physical therapy required to get him walking again.   Keep those prayers coming!

By the stripes of His blood, we are healed!!!!! Despite all of this drama, the prognosis looks very good.  He is one of God's many miracles because he is on the mend.  All things are possible through Christ, who strengthens me!!!!
