Sonja Riesa Perks Fund
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that we report Sonja Reisa Perks death. On Tuesday morning, she was admitted into a New Orleans hospital. She remained in ICU for the next two days with family and friends by her side. It was just after midnight on Thursday morning that she passed.
And now we are left to cope with a life cut too short. Our darling Sonja, a source of light and inspiration, taken too soon. For if you knew Sonja, you knew laughter.
I am heartbroken. Not knowing where my help can be most useful, I've decided to open up the option for donations. My hope for this campaign is to not only help with the medical/travel/hotel expenses, but to also help with the memorial services and to give her family a time to grieve before returning to work. All proceeds will go directly to Rick, Lesley and Casandra.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 11th in Spicewood, Texas at 2pm. Exact address to follow in an update.

The warm sun
Beams through the clear air
Upon glistening leaves.
And the birds
Sweep in long arcs
Over the green grass.
They seem to say,
"This might last forever!"
But it doesn't.
