Hi, I am a 37-year-old hardworking mother of two who is trying my best to protect my children's mental health by getting a divorce from a sociopath I've been married to for 11 years. Due to enormous medical bills from both my daughter and me, plus other life issues, I'm struggling to obtain the funds to start the divorce process.

We currently live in the same house with him residing in the basement, but he does everything in his power to make my life a living hell, including allowing his girlfriend to bring a dog over that our daughter is extremely allergic to. He also tells the children things that shouldn't be told to an 11 and 9-year-old.

The latest thing he has done was discontinue my car insurance through USAA without telling me. I only found out because on 12/16/2024, I was leaving PT for a surgery on my shoulder I had on 11/22/2024, and my car wouldn't start. I texted him about having insurance tow my car home, and that's when he informed me I'm no longer covered.

I know we are all going through things, but if anyone can help me reach my goal to get me and my babies out of here, I promise I will pay it forward to the next person in need. Anything helps.
