Hi all. As most of you know our father suffered from an allergic reaction from medication this past weekend (2/26). His throat had closed when he entered he hospital and they had to perform an emergency tracheotomy. There were some complications (vein was cut) and he had to go into surgery and has been in a medically induced coma since Sunday. Though we are hopeful for a positive outcome, he will likely need to stay in the ICU in Canada for about 2 weeks and then transported back to the US to complete his recovery. Our family is making every effort to be by his side as often as possible, but the costs are significant. Due to his line of work, there will also be lost wages until he is fully recovered. We don't want our father to wake up and be immediately stressed about these bills. We would be most appreciative of any support you can provide to help with the following: Medical expenses, Insurance bills, travel/transportation costs, and lost wages.
