Aylsham FC 3G Pitch Fund

Youngs Park is the home of Aylsham Football Club.

The football club moved to Youngs Park, a brand new facility, in 2015 with 12 teams.

Since then the club has seen remarkable success and has grown to 30+ teams using the facility. This has put immense stain on playing resources therefore we need to diversify and strenghten our present offer. Hence, this funding request which is to build a 3G pitch so that football is available to all for most of the year, regardless of the weather.

We have are an inclusive club with vibrant adult, youth, women and girl sections as well as a large walking football group, that collectively represent the diversity of our community.

This facility and the 3G pitch are community assets for Aylsham residents and surrounding towns and villages to use.

We seek to attract all sections of society to Youngs Park and join our club. We are currently attempting to add a disability group to our footballing offer.

The 3G pitch allows access to football all year round and caters well for the diverse needs we wish to support.

We are working in partnership with Norfolk FA, the Football Foundation, the Greater Norwich Growth Board, Broadlands District council and local partners to achieve this ambition.
