Hi I’m Jamie, I’m running the Manchester marathon in April to raise money to benefit Macmillan Cancer Support, and any donation will help make an impact.
I am raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of my nan, who was like a second mum to me. She was the strongest woman I’ve ever known, fighting cancer more than once with unbelievable courage and determination. Sadly, in April 2023 she passed away after a long and heartbreaking battle. This fundraiser is for her - for her strength, her love, and the impact she had on my life. I hope this can help support others facing cancer and keep her memory alive in a meaningful way. Thank you to everyone who donates in her honour.
More information about Macmillan Cancer Support: The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, and every one of them needs the best support to meet their unique needs. That's why we'll do whatever it takes to help everyone living with cancer across the UK get the support they need right now and transform cancer care for everyone who will be diagnosed in the future. For information, support or just someone to talk to, call 0808 808 00 00 or visit macmillan.org.uk/whateveryouneed
