Hoy día 5 de Junio 2020, conocí a Javier en un estacionamiento de un Home Depot aqui en Miami. Javier y su esposa están en situación de calle después de ser desalojados por incumplimiento de pago durante esta Pandemia que nos afecta a todos. Javier perdió su trabajo como plomero debido a que la empresa donde trabajaba dejo de funcionar. Él se vio forzado a dejar todo atrás y afrontar esta dura etapa que es vivir en la calle.
Javier fue ilegalmente desalojado de su hogar incumpliendo las órdenes del Gob de la Florida Gob De Santis la cual suspende los desalojos.
Nunca recibió el estimulo Federal, ni la ayuda por desempleo ni el bono del CARES Act. Su teléfono fue desconectado por no tener fondos para mantenerla activa.
-Actualización: Gracias a diversas donaciones el teléfono fue Javier fue activado, Javier y su pareja dormirán en un motel esta noche.
Hoy su historia saldrá por el canal local Telemundo 51 y esperamos juntos darle una nueva oportunidad y recuperar la confianza en la humanidad.

Today, June 5, 2020, I met Javier in a parking lot of a Home Depot here in Miami. Javier and his wife are on the street after being evicted for non-payment during this Pandemic that affects us all. Javier lost his job as a plumber because the company where he worked stopped working. He was forced to leave everything behind and face this tough stage of living on the street.
Javier was illegally evicted from his home in breach of the orders of the Florida Gov. De Santis which suspends the evictions.
He never received the Federal stimulus, unemployment benefits, or the CARES Act bonus. His phone was disconnected because he had no funds to keep him active.
-Update: Thanks to various donations the phone was Javier was activated, Javier and his partner will sleep in a motel tonight.
Today his story will be broadcast on the local channel Telemundo 51 and together we hope to give him a new opportunity and regain confidence in humanity.
THE MONEY raised WILL BE USED TO COVER HOUSING, GROCERIES, HEALTH AND LAWYERS.
