Hi my names India and this is my dog Dolly.

She is a 12yr old yorkie x and she is my absolute world. On the 30/07/2025 something terrible happened which resulted in her front leg being broken along with cuts and bruises to her face and other leg. Although these other injury’s will heal on their own her broken leg won’t and we’ve been told devastating news that it will need to be amputated. We do not have pet insurance for her as being 12 a lot of insurances companies don’t want to cover multiple things so we made the decision to cancel it due to them not previously paying out when she had issues with her teeth. We have been quoted around £3000 by the vet to amputate her leg which we do not have. And the decision to put her to sleep is not an option.
