My nephew, Tyler J. Miller, is a 12 year old boy who's full of life. He's an intelligent, smart, hard working, and caring individual. Tyler is more than your average kid. Whatever challenges have ever been put in front of Tyler, he's succeeded. Tyler loves helping around the farm, working on things, building things, hunting, camping, being in the middle school honor band, and most of all riding his dirt bike. Above all else, he enjoys his best friend Taya, who is also his big sister. He never gives up and he's always up for a challenge. On Friday April 17, 2020 he had a doctors appointment to try and find an answer to the severe headaches he'd been experiencing for a few weeks. The doctors performed a CT scan and found a mass on the frontal lobe of his brain. They were concerned and insisted that it be further evaluated. Later that evening Tyler's parents took him to Morgantown, WV for further testing. The doctors in Morgantown ordered an MRI and confirmed the mass. They planned to go in and remove the mass but after some further testing and consultation they decided a biopsy would be the best course of action to ensure they knew exactly what they were dealing with. The results of the biopsy indicated that the mass would have to be removed via surgery. Tyler's parent's are both with him but because of the COVID-19 restrictions they will only allow one of them at a time to be with him. Tyler has quite a battle ahead of him and he needs his mom and dad by his side. My brother and sister in law have already missed over a week of work and we all know how fast things can pile up. They are facing many trips back and fourth as well as many hotel stays and all the other expenses that go along with a situation like this. I'd like to ask for prayers first and foremost and above all else. Let's all pray that we can get Tyler healthy again and back home on the farm where he belongs. We have been truly blessed and honored with the showering of love and support from you all. Each and everyone of you will always have a special place in all our lives and hearts. I'd like to lessen the burden and worries of the real world on my brother and sister in law in this time so they can be right by Tyler's side. Any and all help is truly appreciated. Thanks for reading and much love from the entire Miller family to each and every one of you!
