Hey guys,

As many of you are aware, on Thursday 28th, James had a fall at work which resulted in a broken vertebrae. Surgeons were able to operate on Tuesday 2nd, to stabilise the fracture and ensure it didn’t move towards his spinal cord causing more permanent damage. After a successful surgery and post op recovery in hospital James was discharged from The Royal Hospital on Saturday 6th to recover at home.

The consultants and physio team have said that general recovery will be about 2-3 months. Due to the physically demanding nature of James’ work they have initially said it will be 6 months until he is strong enough to return. This will be assessed by his physio team and is possible to be extended beyond the 6 month expectation.

James is self employed and started his own business this past year, so he is only entitled to basic government sick pay. Approx £80/week.

Due to him being the sole earner in their home, we would love to be able to help James and Faith meet their monthly outgoings. This would include their rent, groceries, electric, heating and general house bills and costs for a family of 4.

Would you help us in reaching our goal to help contribute to the basic financial necessities of the McCartney family?
In doing so this will allow James to take the time needed to fully recover, knowing his family is covered.
