Please help Jessica's fight against Breast Cancer

My daughter, Jessica Tingstad, was diagnosed with breast cancer on January 9, 2023. It’s a very aggressive ductal carcinoma cancer and it is triple positive which means it is positive for estrogen, progesterone and HER2. HER2 is the fast growing aggressive cancer!

It is estimated to be a long journey starting with a series of strong chemo treatments, a double mastectomy, more surgeries, treatments and long term medicines. The last thing she needs to worry about is all the financial hardships this fight will bring. She is taking a mostly unpaid Intermittent FMLA Leave from work. She will and is experiencing lost wages, insurance deductibles, unforeseen medical expenses and medical related needs not covered by insurance to name just a few. She is the sole income of her household.

She has been an animal lover since she was a little girl. Her home includes herself and her 3 fur babies. Meet little Lexi her Shih Tzu a puppy mill survivor, Forrest her rabbit a big Flemish mix bunny and Chanel her Frenchie another puppy mill survivor. They have financial needs she needs to provide, some medical also, and count on mommy to take care of them. But as animal lovers know, they give back 100% despite financial hardships with their unconditional love. They bring her lots of comfort and joy even on her worst days of pain and sickness as she fights breast cancer. Snuggles and doggie kisses go a long way!

As we all know, the financial stress that comes with a cancer diagnosis is an unfair burden, let alone the difficulty of asking for help. So, we kindly ask and greatly appreciate any donations that are sent her way. We want her to focus all her energy on fighting breast cancer.

We sincerely thank all her friends and family who have shown her love, kindness and friendship since she began her fight with breast cancer. This is what truly matters in life and she feels so grateful for everyone’s support and prayers!
