Hi, my name is Kristin Truax and I'm raising money to help my mother on her road to recovery.

On July 27, 2022 she was a victim of a horrible domestic violence crime.

She is currently in UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Nicole has had 3 surgeries so far, and after she recovers, she will be heading to a neurological unit at another hospital for rehabilitation and a lot of therapy.

With that being said, she has a long recovery ahead of her. We currently have no time line of when she will be able to return normal day to day activities

Nicole will be moving in with myself, my husband, and her two grandchildren, and I will be her primary care taker until she is able to be on her own again.

She is starting her new life over, she is losing a house of 21 years, and life as she knew it will never be the same!

I know from the bottom of my heart she will be so thankful for anything you donate!

My mother is a fighter, she is so strong, and it's going to be a long journey but she is here and breathing and that's all that matters!!

The donations will be used to handle her medical bills, equipment, and for any of her personal affairs that need handled while she is recovering.
