Don’s Recovery Fund

Don Deschaine is a hard working man who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone! On June 30, 2020 his life changed forever. While working for a logging company Don’s left hand got caught between the wood cutting machine and a log. His left hand was completely severed off. Don was life flighted to Massachusetts General Hospital for emergency surgery to attempt to reattach his hand.

On July 2, 2020 Don Was rushed back into the operating room twice. Doctors are attempting to stop internal bleeding from the reattached hand. 

Don has a long road ahead of him and will need to make multiple trips from Madawaska to Boston for follow up appointments. He will also require extensive physical therapy.

Any amount you can spare is very much appreciated and will hopefully ease Don’s financial burdens.
