David is in the ICU at Littleton Adventist Hospital. He has a long journey to recovery and we have started this GoFundMe site to help with tremendous expenses that will occur . Please donate and share if possible. We are thankful for all the love and support!
Several days ago David told his roommate Kevin he needed to go to the hospital because he was experiencing double vision, and unable to keep his balance. Kevin took him to the local hospital in Frisco CO, where many tests were run, and they determined he needed to be flown to another hospital that could handle his condition.
Shortly after arriving in Denver the aneurysm in his brain ruptured, and they performed surgery to relieve the pressure.
In updates from his brother Tony: He was kept in induced coma for a couple days. Currently, he is still in the ICU. He is somewhat awake, opening his eyes and moving his left side in response. He has a great team of wonderful nurses attending to him!!!
He looks pretty good all things considered. The nurse said he is going to be here for at least 2 weeks. Even if he comes out of his current state. The nurses stressed the importance of him having low to no stimulation.
They are keeping his blood pressure as low as possible to help him heal. Please keep sending the prayers and positive thoughts!! We will continue updates on his condition.
