Newest update: Maggie is with me and recovering. She’s sore and not back to normal but she’s stable and doing well. I’m watching her like a hawk. She’s drinking water and peeing. Eating just a little but it’s a start. Thank you everyone for the love and kindness. 

UPDATE: The vet was unable to insert a catheter and I’m going to have to have Maggie transferred to another hospital they have to do a scan with contrast and she might have to have another surgery which may cost an additional $10k. I’m literally living in a nightmare right now.

I had to rush Maggie to the er yesterday and she had to have emergency surgery because her urinary tract was obstructed by stones. They had to open her up and remove all of them. She’s still there under observation. Still hasn’t been able to urinate. They’re going to try to place a catheter but they tried multiple times yesterday unsuccessfully. If they can’t get it she’s going to be transferred to a specialist. I’m so worried and scared. Not to mention unfortunately we’re already up to $11,000 in vet bills and I’m stuck in Massachusetts regardless because an emergency light came on my truck and it has to be fixed tomorrow. I’m so worried about my poor baby and I literally am so stressed I want to d*e.

if there’s anything you can donate to help it would be greatly appreciated. At this time she’s being transferred to another specialty service which will cost an additional $5-7k and that’s if they don’t have to perform a second surgery which they may have to.
