On November 11, 2025, tragedy struck when a neighbor’s garage caught on fire and spread to my husband’s grandma’s home at 2621 Lynch St, Corpus Christi, TX. The fire quickly damaged the entire back half of her house, destroying nearly everything she owned.

She has lived in this home for over 50 years, raising her family there and creating countless memories. Sadly, she did not have home insurance, and neither did the neighbors.

Because of the severe fire, smoke, and water damage, her home is no longer livable. She lost most of her personal belongings, and the structure itself needs major repairs before she can safely return.

With the holidays approaching, our hearts are heavy knowing she lost so much, but we are beyond thankful she made it out safely. We are now trying to raise funds to help her clean up the damage, recover essentials, and start rebuilding her home.
