Sawyer's Journey is about a new born baby girl. Born 9/3/23. Sawyer was born on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. She came into this world with the biggest chubby cheeks, blond hair and brightest of eyes. Sawyer has had a pretty rough start to this thing that we call life. She has spent most of her days in the Nicu. She has been poked and prodded to try and find out what is going on with her. Sawyer had to be in the nicu for her breathing, her core temperature, her feeding, and her eye. She was what they called a lazy eater which means she wouldn't eat so they had to place a feeding tube in her to help her grow strong. She was on the heating bed to help her with her temperature, she had ivs to help with medications she needed, and blood draws. She was also may be blind in one eye. As you can see by the photos she is the cutest of babies and so unique that even the Dr's here in Montana can't figure out what is wrong with her eyes. On Thursday Sawyer, her Daddy Ricky and Mommy Summer will be making a trip down to Salt Lake City children's hospital to see if they can find out what is wrong with Sawyer's eye. We don't know how long they will be gone for. Or what the Dr's might say. We ask, is that if you can help in anyway possible please do.
