Jimmy’s fight against Leukemia
Donation protected
Hi family and friends!
Sometimes life throws us curveballs. We truly believe these curveballs are a way that God shows us His peace, love, goodness and faithfulness.
A couple of weeks ago, our dad (Jimmy) had shortness of breath, sever fatigue and fever off and on. He went to the doctor and got labs done that showed his white and red blood count were extremely low. The doctor then ordered a bone marrow biopsy which led to a diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
He was then admitted to UAB and he is receiving chemo treatments there, with our mom by his side. They will do another bone marrow biopsy to determine what the next steps will be.
We’ve already seen God’s hand in so many details of this journey. We know it could be a bumpy road but if you know our daddy, he’s a fighter and has big plans to hunt some big bucks this winter!
So many of you have asked how you could help, so we wanted to give you a way to do that. If you would like to join us on the journey, please consider giving to help offset the costs of medical bills, prescriptions, doctor’s visits and any other expenses that may come for our parents.
We are so thankful for your outpouring of prayers, love, gifts, messages and help!
