Help Leah finish her college degree after losing her mother.
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing Leah’s mother, Marlene. Marlene passed on July 8th after a short battle with cancer. This loss has created challenges, particularly for Leah’s educational journey.
Leah is a student working hard to finish her degree at Hawai’i Pacific University. The recent and sudden passing of her mother has created unexpected financial hardships, which will make it difficult to cover the cost of her education. Marlene was Leah’s biggest supporter and source of encouragement who believed in the value and importance of education. Leah is a fourth year biology major and she plans to pursue a career in health care. Leah shared, “My mom was my biggest supporter and always believed in me. She won’t get to see me finish college, but I’m committed to completing my education in her honor.”
To honor Marlene’s memory and to help Leah achieve her goal of graduating from college, I am reaching out for support. Funds raised will go directly towards tuition, books, and housing, allowing Leah to focus on her studies during this difficult time. Thank you in advance for your kindness and support.
