Help a Hardworking Single Mom Move to a Safe Home

Hi everyone, my name is Anika Moore, I am a single mother to 2 wonderful boys Parker(20) and Grayson (almost 5) I work full-time to provide for my family, but recently, we have been facing significant financial challenges. Despite my best efforts to budget and save, I find myself in a difficult position where I need immediate assistance to secure a safe and stable home for Grayson and myself that is closer to both my job, and his upcoming school where he will begin Kindergarten starting in August.
I recently found and was just approved for an apartment that is perfect for us, but I am struggling to cover the security deposit and first month’s rent. The total amount needed is $3500.00 and I need to have the funds by Sunday 7/28 ideally but no later than Wednesday 7/31.
Without this help, we risk losing this opportunity to move into this safe, stable and perfectly located apartment, and are at risk
of being left without any home at all.
I am reaching out to friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers for assistance during this challenging time. We have been driving sometimes over an hour each way to and from work/ childcare each day. This is costing me tons of $ in gas and wear on my car-and takes away from our time spent together in the evenings when we do
Arrive home.
This is our phoenix moment, rising from the ashes of the past!
And Over the last few of years I have done a lot of work deep within to heal, restore, and to grow as a person and as a mother, and to improve my mindset and to find a new healthy path forward—a happier way for us to live, love, and create a new life and begin anew. I know that I have more work to do and I plan to continue in order to become my very best self.
I was encouraged to see if this might be an avenue I hadn’t considered, to allow others to support me in this way. I would not have thought it an option, as I don't usually ask for help
Or share my struggles publicly, but here we are. I also know that I would help someone if I could. I have. And I will again. So I am sharing my story, and my heart-felt intentions, to see if anyone would be willing to help in supporting us financially during this crutial transition, and be a part of our success story!
