Support Kristen's Fight Against Cancer

Kristen Polak (formerly Lauer) was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. She has been in the hospital in the ICU since 1/15/2025, and medical bills are beginning to pile up.

Kristen graduated from NSBHS in 2008. She eventually moved out to Alaska and then finally settled in South Carolina with her husband, Jeremy. As we can imagine, this is a very difficult time for both of them. Being far away from family and friends they grew up with, any support they receive is greatly appreciated.

Kristen has a long road ahead of her. They are currently seeing if she qualifies for a transplant, as she needs a liver transplant. Being out of work and continuing to have medical bills, on top of normal bills, pile up is added stress they do not need to worry about.
