Kidney Transplant

Born with two kidneys that were both structurally compromised, Tiffany (49) knew she would need to undergo a kidney transplant in order to maintain life. This hereditary kidney disease took the life of her grandfather at the age of 44 and required that her younger sister also undergo a transplant just last year. Running against inevitable kidney failure, finding a donor for Tiffany became imperative.
About a year ago, Tiffany began reaching out to friends and family to help identify a potential donor. From the moment Daisy (37) heard of this need, her response was YES, I’m in! When asked about her willingness to donate, she explained that, “There are times in your life that you just know, God is asking you to “crossover” to do big things, sometimes scary things, things that will cost you, but are for his purpose and for his glory in all of our lives.” This was one of those moments for Daisy. In consideration of having a similar need for self or a family member she expressed, “I believe with all my heart that if we are ever in need in this way, others would show up, I want to be that hope for Tiffany.”
On March 15th in Spokane, WA, Tiffany will receive a new kidney and an opportunity for healthy life. Here is your invitation into this beautiful story. This fundraising effort has been set up to help offset lost wages during recovery, incidentals and any unforeseen medical expenses for these families; an opportunity for many hands to participate and share in the blessing of this gift. I invite you to consider “crossing over,” reaching out, and supporting these families in whatever way you feel led.
