Support George and his family

hello everyone,

my name is Glenda and I am opening this Gofundme on behalf of one of my brothers, Jorge Demis Ardon, or as most call him "George"

On February 19, 2024, George suffered a hemorrhagic stroke leaving him speechless and paralyzed from the right side of his body, as of today we do not know exactly what or how this happened.

Geroge is known for being a very active guy whether it was at work or home and now, I can only imagine how frustrating it must be not to be able to communicate or completely understand what is going on, this is heartbreaking and has taken a toll on the whole family. but he is a strong man and with God on our side along with therapy and lots of care, he will pull through this.

Since our father passed 6 years ago Geroge took our mother and myself under his care. He was a very hard-working man, a little too much at times, to the point that would get me a little upset sometimes when he would come out of work limping but, with a smile of accomplishment because he would finish his route right on time, we used to carpool to and from work, but now the commute is no longer fun

in his line of work, he delivers medicines and medical supplies to hospitals and pharmacies, he has made many friends throughout the years as he is always willing to help, he is always very polite and friendly, and always stands his ground when needed .

I remember an occasion right before this happened when we stopped at a gas station, we both noticed a lady with the hood of her car open towards the side of the entrance as we passed by he said "That car has been parked there for a couple of days" we went on about our visit, on the way out he stopped and went to help her, she said that she had left her car there because her battery died and she had to wait to buy charging cables but had no clue what to do, so helped her and as soon as the car started she began to cry and gave George a big hug saying thank you! and once again I saw that great human he is.

as I'm typing all of this a bunch of scenarios go through my head, was it anxiety, was it stress, was it depression...

whatever it was George is now in a rehabilitation facility, this will be a slow and long road to recovery.

between all the medical bills, expenses, and special equipment that he needs and a health care provider the bills are adding up and unfortunately, his disability benefits will not start until a year from now, I am trying my best to carry the load of all the bills we shared and taking care of our mom can be overwhelming at times, but GOD is my rock and gives me the strength I need.

I humbly ask for your help at this time of need, I know economic times are rough for everyone but NO amount is too little on the contrary, every penny is greatly appreciated as it would help our goal but besides the financial help, we also ask for prayers, prayers and more prayers and if you can share the link to this page Jorge and The Ardon family would greatly appreciate it. I know GOD is listening and time heals...
