A few weeks ago, my family received the devastating news that my dad has cancer again. After a difficult battle with head and neck cancer in 2023, we thought that he had beaten it. However, it has metastasized into his lungs and is now stage IV.

My family is still struggling from the previous medical expenses and has subsequently found themselves in a difficult financial position going into this next phase of treatment. In addition to the two types of chemotherapy, he will also be doing a new immunotherapy, which, while promising, is very expensive.
