Hey guys,
I think it's about time I share this story with the friends and family that I love. It may take some faith to believe this story but everything I'm about to tell you is absolutely true.
A few years ago I was awakened by a dream (Joseph's seem to be dreamers i guess). In this dream I saw a clear vision for an invention that has inspired me ever since. Of course the first thing I did was pitch the idea to my wife. I know she can be my greatest fan but she'll always give me the hard truth too. SHE LOVED IT!
So I started doing my research on different companies that could help me develop my idea. I found a company by the name of Davison. Please feel free to do some search on them.
I came to find out that not only do they build, develop, and package the idea, they also market it to some of the top companies in the world. Not the United States....the world. But here was the best part about it for me: since the company takes a modest percentage of the revenues earned (or at least that's what my contact outlines), they have a vested interest in taking my invention to the next level. I thought that was awesome.
I called Davison, signed the disclosure letter, and spoke to the director of new products, John Zolds. This guy has seen it all, good inventions, bad inventions, and inventions that have skyrocketed to the top. So the first thing he told me was that if my idea didn't peek his interest or was something that he knew off the bat was not gonna serve a solid purpose in the market, we would have to shake hands and part ways. They are in this business to make money, not to help create bad products.
I began to describe what I saw in my dream. When I was finished he got really quiet but then he started asking questions, A LOT OF QUESTIONS. I was trying to figure out where the conversation was going when he stopped for minute and told me: "Joseph, I've seen and heard of a lot ideas. I do this for a living. But I have to tell that this idea is big. In fact, I can see this product in every American home and if you don't push and do it yourself, someone else will."
I was floored. For a man who does this for a living to tell me that was absolutely mind boggling.
Now here is where your faith comes in. I am now in a legal contract with Davison, meaning that I can not disclose the details of the contract or the idea itself. It has taken a lot of my own faith to even write this message to you because I didn't think that ppl would give to a cause without knowing all the details. But is was God Who gave me the idea and it's gonna be God Who uses people like you to make this work. I have raised about $2,500, $1,000 of those funds coming from a close benefactor. I need $12,000 more to complete this project. $12,000 will cover build, packaging, marketing, everything! We are already in line to pitch this idea to a VERY well known, household name. This is going to be big. I think about it everyday I pray that you will be a part of this dream come true.
