Dom's Road to Recovery

On November 18, 2023, I found my husband Domonique unresponsive. CPR was started and he was taken to the emergency department. He was admitted to ICU because he had pneumonia, high blood pressure and a major stroke. The stroke caused permanent brain damage and affected his mobility. He was hospitalized for 16 days. He has completed inpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy, last Friday. He continues to need speech therapy outpatient as well, to reach his new baseline from the damage to his brain, from th stroke. He had started a new job prior to having the stroke. He did not have medical insurance yet. Since he was so new to his job, he did not have disability insurance either. He has not been able to work, and will not be able to return to work for the foreseeable future. I was supposed to start a new job a couple days after his stroke. Instead of starting my new job, I spent spent his entire hospital stay with him. So I was not bringing in any income either. We need financial assistance to help cover the cost of Domonique's care, his medical expenses and other bills. Any contribution will help with his road to recovery. It will be appreciated greatly. Please do not put this post on Facebook or any other social media sites. We do not want to upset the children more. Therfore, please share this link to those who would want to help.
