My grandson had $10K worth of tools stolen from his truck last week while it was parked in front of his house on Rotunda x Sarda (in Valencia Hills) at 3:00 a.m. It was a white Mercedes with 3 guys, but we couldn't make out the license plate. I'm heartbroken for my grandson, he's a young kid working hard on his HVAC business, and now every tool he has to make a living is gone. He has insurance but was told it would have to go through his parents’ homeowners insurance, not his car insurance. They called the insurance company and were told they had a $2,500 deductible, which my grandson was ok paying if he could recoup some of the money for his tools, but then they were told since they were work tools, they would only cover a maximum of $1,500. Plus it would raise their premium $500 - $600 a year for the next 3 years. Needless to say, insurance is not an option. He is such a hardworking kid, trying to make an honest living, which makes this situation even worse.

This is the reason I have set up this GoFundMe account. If you can donate anything at all, we would be very grateful. This is his busiest time of year & he doesn’t have the tools he needs to work is. I really appreciate any help you can provide.
