Hey Meltwater, it's not all OK in Australia right now.

Australia - the lucky country - has not been so lucky as 2020 starts.

In case you've missed the news over the holiday period, Australia is, unfortunately, facing one of the worst bushfire situations in history. 

All Meltwater staff are safe and accounted for, but the impact on our country is unfathomable.

As of today, 4.9 million hectares have been burnt while over 200 fires rage on uncontrollably. (Erm that sounds big.. but how big is that exactly?) Good question! -   Click here to compare it to the city/country you live in.

And the ensuing damage is huge.
About half a billion of the most unique fauna in the world is estimated to have perished already.


To do our bit as the Meltwater family – we’re pledging to:
 
1. Do all of our offsite meetings in 2020 at the regional communities that have been affected, so as to rekindle the micro economies while they try to get back on their feet.

2. We need YOUR help with this one :)

Please dig deep - we are collecting all donations from the global Meltwater family and donating it to the Australian Red Cross emergency relief effort.
