It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Jorge Perez, who lost his battle with stage 4 small cell lung cancer on July 28th at 2:43 PM. His fight was short but fierce, as the illness progressed far more quickly than any of us could have imagined.

Since June, Jorge had been in and out of the hospital, showing incredible strength through every challenge. Despite the efforts of his medical team and the love surrounding him, his final hospital stay became his last.

Jorge was more than his illness — he was a beloved family member, a loyal friend, and a source of laughter, warmth, and kindness to everyone who knew him. His absence has left an unimaginable void in our lives.

We’re asking for help to cover his funeral costs and give him the peaceful, dignified goodbye he deserves. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help ease the financial burden during this difficult time.
