Gothenburg hockey club is a female ice hockey team located in Göteborg, Sweden. The team is comprised of female athletes from five different countries including Canada and the United States. GHC is currently in Swedens division 1 league which includes 5 teams from south west Sweden. As of February 13, 2017 GHC claimed the title of LEAGUE CHAMPION. This was accomplished with only one loss all season. Since GHC has claimed their championship in division 1, they now have the opportunity to compete for a spot in the elite league called the SDHL (Swedish women's professional ice hockey league). In order for GHC to be able to compete in this playoff they need money to support the transport (i.e. Bus), and the hotel fees. Without this support, GHC will have to remove themselves from the playoffs and ultimately lose their chance to further female ice hockey in Göteborg. Majority of the players are involved in post secondary education or have moved to Göteborg for the chance to play hockey at the top level. This can't be accomplished without your support.
