Grandparents' Home Lost to Fire

Hi everyone,

I’m writing this with a heavy heart to ask for your help. My husband’s grandparents—two of the kindest, most selfless people you could ever meet—recently experienced a devastating house fire. Half of their home was destroyed, and they are now displaced, forced to stay elsewhere while they wait for answers and try to rebuild. We don’t yet know how the fire started, but the loss is heartbreaking.

These are not just any grandparents—they are the heart and soul of our family. The ones who have always opened their doors, shared their food, and offered unconditional love and support through every chapter of life. They have given everything to their children and grandchildren, never asking for anything in return. They are truly the foundation of this family.

Now, they’re the ones in need. They are currently unemployed and facing the enormous task of starting over without the stability they once had. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly to them to help replace what was lost and find peace again. And if you’re unable to donate, we kindly ask that you share this message. Escribo esto con el corazón en la mano para pedir su ayuda. Los abuelos de mi esposo—dos de las personas más amables y generosas que puedan conocer—sufrieron recientemente un incendio devastador en su casa. La mitad de su hogar fue destruido, y ahora se encuentran desplazados, obligados a quedarse en otro lugar mientras esperan respuestas e intentan reconstruir. Aún no sabemos cómo comenzó el incendio, pero las pérdidas han sido muy dolorosas.

Ellos no son solo unos abuelos más—son el corazón y el alma de nuestra familia. Siempre han tenido las puertas abiertas, compartido su comida y ofrecido amor y apoyo incondicional en cada etapa de nuestras vidas. Han dado todo por sus hijos y nietos, sin jamás pedir nada a cambio. Son verdaderamente el pilar de esta familia.

Ahora, son ellos quienes necesitan de nosotros. Actualmente están desempleados y enfrentando la enorme tarea de empezar de nuevo, sin la estabilidad que alguna vez tuvieron. Cualquier donación, por pequeña que sea, irá directamente a ellos para ayudarles a reemplazar lo perdido y recuperar un poco de tranquilidad. Y si no puedes donar, te pedimos de corazón que compartas este mensaje. Cada muestra de apoyo—económica o emocional—significa el mundo para nosotros.
