Luna’s Road to Recovery

Miss Lunabutt is Joseph’s 5-year old fur baby and emotional support dog. Recently Luna became injured instantly after doing something she routinely does to cuddle with dad.  Luna jumped down from  her parent’s bed, and the unfortunate impact resulted in a compressed disc in her spine. This injury caused paralysis in her back legs and the inability to walk and even go to the bathroom on her own. With vet bills climbing and her care needs increasing, Joseph is asking for donations to help alleviate the impact on the Quesada family’s finances. The cost of Luna’s wheelchair, Physical Therapy Sessions, and MRI/CT scan are top priority. 

This GoFundMe account was created by Jennifer, on behalf of Joseph Quesada. My brother is willing to “do whatever it takes” to help Luna on her road to recovery and getting accustomed to her new normal. While there’s no guarantee Luna will ever walk on her own again, there is some hope that she may gain return in one of her legs. More will be known as Luna continues physical therapy.
