She is strong, she is beautiful, she is a fighter, she is our dear friend Denise who is currently fighting her battle with cancer.
If you would like to help support her fight you can do so by giving a monetary gift to help her with some of her medical expenses. She would also appreciate your prayers.
All proceeds will go directly to Denise.
Please read more about her story.

Denise’s Story
From Denise's CaringBridge.org page:
Friends and Family , As you all know, I love all things fitness! I strive everyday to take care of my body through exercise and healthy eating. (I still love ice cream and cookies.) However, Miss Fit and Active... ME, was diagnosed with Diffuse B-Cell Lymphoma of the breasts, a rare cancer. Talk about shocking! It seems like it has been forever since the initial diagnosis in September. So far I have had 2 surgeries and 1 round of chemo. Next, I have 5 more rounds of chemo, followed by port removal surgery and reconstructive surgery. I am fortunate to have my immediate family members close to support me while I go through this. I also want to take a moment to thank you, my dear friends, for all of the calls, text messages, visits, and offers to help me with whatever I may need. This is all keeping my spirits uplifted and helps me to remain positive as I go through treatment.I am constantly asked ‘What can I do’ since most of you live miles away from me. First of all, continue to hold me in your prayers as I continue to win my battle against this disease. Secondly, if you are thinking of sending me gifts, treats, or flowers, it would be great if you would send the cash to me instead. Every little bit helps and will be much appreciated. All money received will go towards costs not covered by my health insurance (medicine, chemo, doctor fees, labs, surgical expenses, transportation costs from Port Arthur to Houston). This site has been set up for updates, not donations. Do not feel obligated to do so.What else can you do? Continue to follow my journey on my CaringBridge website. Now that I have started chemo, I sometimes struggle with fatique, so reviewing my website rather than texting me will allow me to get some much needed rest!Lastly, make sure you all are doing your breast self-exam every month! Although, it is not breast cancer, the masses were caused by the Lymphoma. Early detection is key!
