Help me get to California

I just want to say thank you to all my family and friends who had a part in my growth as a man. I’m entering an important stage in my life. I’m starting to transition into a man, and with this transition comes new opportunities. As a lot of you know I’m an aspiring screenwriter and director. I have the opportunity to travel to Burbank, CA for a filmmaking program the summer before my junior year at Morehouse College. One thing is stopping me from getting there however... my ultimate nemesis, MONEY!! Money is always sweatin me, always cramping my style. Money and I have a historic rivalry, filled with historic battles. Most of the time I’m on the winning side of those battles, but this time, money seems to have my number. I won’t give up the fight however. I’m doing my part, working day and night in hopes to raise enough money for my film program but I need your help. Please help me defeat money and put me one step closer to achieving my ultimate goal, making amazing films that impact the way the world views black creatives like myself and how we view ourselves. Every cent helps.
