Hi there, my name is Jess and I’m starting this fundraiser for a friend and coworker, Marcy. Marcy was recently diagnosed with uncurable adenocarcinoma of both lungs. It has metastasized. She recently felt very short of breath but chalked it up to her asthma. When it started to get much worse and very scary for her, she called the doctor to be seen. Which is when they found she had ALOT of fluid in both lungs. She has since been in the hospital undergoing drainage of the lungs and a multitude of tests which have all determined cancer. Marcy is such a kind person. She tries to help anyone she can. I had a hard time finding photos for this page because all of marcys photos are of her animals or her mom. The things she loves the most. She takes great pride in her little farm and I don’t want to see her or the animals struggle during this hard time. Marcy is the sole provider of her home and her farm. She sacrifices things for herself so that her animals can be well taken care of. I think Marcys future treatment plans and the extent of her diagnosis is still evolving but she will be out of work or have significantly decreased hours while receiving treatment, which we know will be long term. She’s a very active part of the Rock City Falls community and her church. She loves and takes pride in her job for the hospital and she loves supporting small business in Saratoga when she can. It’s now our turn to support her! Big or small, it all adds up and I truly believe we need to pull together as a community and help one of our own.
