Support Liz's Family in Their Time of Need

Hello there! My name is Liz. I am the Mom of 3 kids.

I am coming to you today because my 44th birthday is in 3 days (7-29) and all I want for my birthday is some help catching up on my household bills that are behind, after a very crazy and stressful last couple of years.

It started when my little brother lost his battle with his demons. After I missed his phone call that I feel could have saved him, I went into a pretty bad depression that came with crippling anxiety attacks and nightmares which led to long sleepless nights.

This affected my personal relationships, as well as my professional relationships. My husband has been working long tireless days as a contracted package delivery driver, but he barely makes enough to cover our rentlet alone any other bills.

In December, I started having massive panic attacks and severe anxiety attacks, to the point I couldn't do my sales & reservation job because I couldn't bring myself to speak on the phone.

In February, I decided to get help and I'm on medication now and slowly getting better day by day, however the damage has already been done.

With the exception of a few side gigs here and there, I haven't been able to secure permanent employment and the bills are stacking up. Unfortunantly the panic attacks are starting to come back, even with medication.

I've had to let all of our credit cards go, which we were using to survive off of.

In the middle of all of this, I decided to up and moved my family 7 hours away to where I was led to believe (by who I thought was a good friend), that I would have a job, but it turned out to be false. I was lied to and strung along. My husband had to go without work for 3 weeks while he transferred to a DSP locally, which has caused us to really fall behind on our debts.

I've applied for county programs but appaarently we have a waiting period after moving states before we can obtain assistance.

Now I am struggling worse than I've ever struggled and desperately seeking help or assistance of any sort to help pay our bills before my kids see me break...

The money would be used -

to catch up my vehicle payments -$882

to cover what we're short on rent for August -$1850

to pay our electric bill -$380

to pay our water -$65

to pay our garbage -$50

to pay my vehicle insurance -$165

for groceries -$150

Back to school supplies and clothes would be bought if there would be anything left over.

I am proud to say that through all of this, I have maintained my sobriety and am going on over 3 1/2 years sober.
