My mother's home, which is her 50-year-old childhood home, suffered a massive house fire yesterday. It was very unexpected and electrical-related. The home being older is not covered under insurance.

After her mom passed away last year, it's been her heart's desire to give it new life for the family, but now that's not a reality. She is absolutely heartbroken

Everything is ruined as the entire basement was engulfed in flames and theres so much to replace. Luckily, the family was not inside, while the neighbors and firemen were able to aid her and rescue her dogs before it was too late.

My mom is a proud woman and would never ask for help. But she's a great Mom and Grandmother and needs a little extra love and support right now, even if it's just your prayers. Everything needs replaced down to her daily essential items.

My hope is that she can rebuild something her mom would love just as much as she loved her white house on the farm.
